Collins Square Level 30 & 31 Tower 5 Melbourne

SCOPE OF PROJECT – To manufacture an aluminum pond 16m x 3m in multiple sections to be able to be transported by elevator to the 30 & 31 floor of the building. To be able to be bolted together without welding on site to save time and effort .

This pond was also manufactured with a double tier so water could flow over the first tier into the base catchment below. The first tier was elevated to cater for this and had to be able to cover the weight of river rocks covering the bottom and the volume of water in the pond and be watertight after a membrane was laid down.

This project had a short deadline as it was running behind schedule.

Material used – 3mm and 6mm aluminum laser cut bent and welded .

The customer painted and installed the job.
