TRJ Engineering Group is a family owned and operated manufacturer, operating in Melbourne for over 45 years.
Terry Murphy founded TRJ in 1974, with a small factory in Dandenong. David Murphy (Terry’s son) is the current owner of TRJ Engineering. Today, we have an experienced team of over 35 tradespeople, boilermakers, fitters, turners, fabrication experts and managers at our modern Hallam factory.
The TRJ difference is the pride we take in every job we complete. Our passion and attention to detail has seen us work with major clients Australia-wide. Current clients include Bombardier, Yarra Trams, City of Melbourne, Ace Contractors, Officeworks and Pedders.
The scope of our work is as broad as our staff experience. This is supported by our state-of-the-art factory, featuring 4000m2 of modern machinery. Our manufacturing expertise extending across five major areas: earth-moving, transport chassis, street furniture, retail and general engineering
TRJ’s range of services has grown over the years. Nowadays, we offer laser cutting, guillotining, welding, general engineering, metal fabrication and brake pressing.
