Our Story

Terry Murphy founded TRJ in 1974, with a small factory in Dandenong. Through our industry commitment and reputation, we have grown to a team over 35 engineering specialists, tradespeople and managers. David Murphy (Terry’s son) is the current owner of TRJ Engineering, leading our team of boilermakers, fitters, turners, fabrication experts and managers. Despite our growth, all our fabrication and engineering still takes place in-house at our 4000 m2 workshop in Hallam. We also offer delivery, supply and installation Australia-wide.

The TRJ difference is the pride we take in every job we complete. Our passion and attention to detail has seen us work with major clients Australia-wide. We are preferred fabricators to blue chips clients in both the private and public sectors. Presently, we maintain a loyal client base, and are continually expanding to find new win-win partnerships.
